Teamleader users take the floor: Ghent-based Dropsolid facilitates digital entrepeneurship. Its modular Drupal platform proves the importance of back-end processes to increase efficiency for all – whether it's for business owners, marketeers, IT managers or agencies. Clients such as Synergiejobs, Boerenbond and a whole bunch of SMEs understand that approach. Co-founder Dominique De Cooman: "Though marketing is important, we actually provide our clients with a digital long-term vision for their entire business."

Perfect match

That vision also encompasses Teamleader. "The kind of system that fits our story and the clients' too." The sentence rings out in unison when colleague Wouter Leroy joins us. "They're a young company who like innovation, just like us. And they're forever bettering their product, just like us (smiles)." The world turned upside down compared to the previous system, so Dominique explains: "I came across 5-year-old feedback. Exactly nothing had been done with it. That wasn't good (laughs)." Wouter: "I feel at ease knowing that feedback is properly dealt with. Sometimes even within the hour."

Overview & monitoring

Dominique nods. "A clear overview and quickness prevail in our organisation. That's why I love seeing my calls prioritised, it saves me a lot of time and effort." The main focus is on sales anyhow. "Not on whatever system we use, like before. Sure, the old system was customizable, but that was more of a hindrance if anything." In Wouter's opinion, that's good news for the 3 salespeople. "And for the external salespeople, and our project managers who later expand on sold projects. The deals are followed up on more closely and correctly, thanks to the collected email history etc."

Close to the net

Dominique does sales herself. "Even our sales coach uses Teamleader, smooth sailing. She checks up on deals and gives us feedback, when we're facing direct competition for example." As for the targets: "We see exactly what's expected of who, let's say quarterly. Perfect for reports." An integrated system surely pays dividends. "After merely 6 months all of our invoicing is arranged to a T, all flowing through the system. Nice and handy when we visit a client with unpaid invoices (laughs)." Wouter adds: "We should sign invoices digitally during visits, that would be unbelievably cool. The less paperwork, the better."

Working great together

The third-party integrations work wonders, Dominique adds: "Google Apps, Dropbox, Trendstop and Octopus, an efficient package that we gently forced on our accountant (laughs)." Dropsolid loves time saved. "At the end of the month, I can see all expenses and returns. It took us weeks to get that information in the past." Wouter jumps in: "Much of the added value lies in how trouble-free everything works. That's pretty exceptional, especially for a Belgian player." Or, as Dominique puts it: "Teamleader remains a paragon of how to keep customers satisfied, despite their growth. The fact that we're here telling you this says it all."
