Out with the old, in with the new: while you're reading this, Teamleader is gearing up for the biggest design change in its 3-year history.
Curious? We'll list the biggest changes below:
- Teamleader will from now on adapt to the size of your screen. This way, the usability remains on multiple devices.
- Don't worry, we haven't removed the tracking: we've only relocated it to the right side of your screen, neatly tucked away under the 'Notes & Files' button.
- The settings have also received a make-over. Everything is now more logically divided, plus you're able to search for your desired settings.
Starting today, the Teamleader web app will look better and adjust itself optimally to your screen size too. So what exactly brought about these changes? We went and asked developer Simon Floré.
"At Teamleader, we never want to lag behind. We live and work in a world that no longer revolves exclusively around the desktop, but also relies heavily on laptops and tablets and much, much more. That means we had to furnish the application with a design that's easy to read and navigate, on smaller and bigger screens alike. It was just the logical next step. By the way, for the smallest of screens, there's still the mobile app which we already touched up in August."
"Furthermore, for the last couple of years we were mainly focused on delivering exceptional functionality to our customers. The time had come to make the web app look fantastic too. In fact, the two go hand in hand. A tool that looks good, is much more inviting to work with."
Long-time Teamleader fans needn't be afraid though. "Rather than turning the software on its head, we just improved what we felt needed improving, and applied a brand new coat of paint to the rest. Yet everything that makes Teamleader great, is still there."
For those of you who are relatively new to Teamleader, here's a quick flashback:
Of course, we didn't do all this tinkering for ourselves, but to make sure you get the very best Teamleader experience wherever you go. So don't hesitate to tell us what you think!
