Teamleader is celebrating its 4th birthday today, and we're doing so with cake, the opening of a new office in Spain and hopefully with a victory of the Belgian national team!
The past year was one that kept on rising on all levels. Not only in number of customers, but also in new colleagues and countries we're active in. An overview of the past 12 months:
July 1st 2015 announced the arrival of a whole batch of new colleagues. In the meantime our team kept on growing and right now we've got 83 Belgians, Dutch people, Germans, Spaniards, French guys, Italians and Brits waiting to conquer the SME market.
And to think it all began 4 years ago as a small startup of 3 friends. And although we've gotten a lot of opportunities to gear up our growth, we'll never forget where we came from. We're still ‘Jenny from the block’, as J-Lo put it so fittingly. And to return something to the community of young entrepreneurs, we launched our Teamleader for Startups program in October.
Out with the old, in with the new. For us as well: November announced the biggest change in Teamleader's 4 year history. Both the application as the complete branding received a full on make-over. The result: a refreshening new look, a new logo and an even more user friendly application!
In February we were able to update our trophy cabinet as well. Besides best pitch at the UK Digital Forum we were elected at Tech Startup Day as Tech Startup of the Year!

Our exponential growth began taking some strange twitches. A dire lack of space forced some colleagues to improvise. We're not understating when we say that everyone was relieved when we could finally move to our new Headquarter at Dok Noord in Ghent!

May brought along our own event. At Work Smarter we united more than 400 entrepreneurs, thought leaders and professionals around the subjects of digital transformation, the New Ways of Working and smarter entrepreneurship.
At the beginning of June we received some international attention thanks to The Next Web. Standing on their stage last year, this year they shared an article of our CEO Jeroen. 5 lessons for building a scalable sales machine went viral in the professional blogosphere.
We are celebrating, but that's only thanks to our customers. If it's up to us, we'll go on for a lot more years. Gracias, thank you, vielen Dank, grazie, merci beaucoup, bedankt!
